Senior Adults
First Baptist recognizes that all of life is to be dedicated to God and used to bring him glory. Senior Adults continue to be growing individuals who contribute greatly to the life of First Baptist Church. The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to honor God by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, creating opportunities for fellowship and adventure and reaching lost and unchurched Senior Adults.
NEW HORIZONS
Our Senior Adults meet the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a delicious meal, fellowship and program. All adults 55 and over are welcome to New Horizons including non First Baptist members. Also each month our Senior Adults coordinate a missions project for our community or church.
SENIOR ADULT TRIPS
Trips for Senior Adults are scheduled each month. These include day trips to Chattanooga, Atlanta and other places in North Georgia. Also each year longer, more extensive trips are planned to various places in our country.
NEW HORIZONS CHOIR
The New Horizons Choir meets each Monday afternoon at 4:00 pm to prepare music for worship and seasonal concerts.
