It’s great to have vision statements and long term goals but in a fast paced life, how do we make them practical? Think about it. You probably have found yourself wondering how you were going to get kids to practice, cut the grass, cook supper, help with homework, etc. It’s hard enough fitting multiple schedules into a day. How in the world are we going to be consistent in discipleship? Simply put, you have to make it priority. As a parent, I understand the unexplainable love for a child. You want them to live life happy and healthy. If the church is truly what we say it is, as believers, we must make the foundation of our parenting “Christ-like.” We can all do better. First Baptist Dalton is a place we, along with our kids, can grow.
