FAMILY MINISTRY
The Family Ministry Teams will address the core values: Unified Community; Biblical Foundation; Integrity of Salvation; Sacrificial Living.
The Family Ministry Teams will ensure families of all descriptions within our congregation are enriched and strengthened through the ministries and activities of our church and equipped with the skills to recognize and respond to today's challenges.
Teams Established:
CHILDREN'S LEARNING CENTER (CLC) TEAM
Providing support for the CLC Committee, CLC Director, Instructors and staff to help provide a safe, enriching and spiritual environment for children attending the CLC. The team also supports the CLC staff by providing help with activities, field trips, and an Appreciation Celebration.
Provide a program for the needs of children grades 1-5 through the new Jams-N-Journeys Curriculum and offering ongoing opportunities for family activities and spiritual growth through Bible Drill, Friend's & Fun, Sunday morning breakfasts, etc.
This team is committed to the building of strong, lasting marriages. This team will provide many different opportunities to enhance, celebrate, and strengthen marriages with events like 10 Great Dates to Energize Your Marriage and "Monthly Marriage Minutes" in Connections.
Provide men in the church and community Bible studies and retreats for spiritual renewal and growth.
Planning social events and activity-based mission projects for the community.
The New Horizons group meets monthly for dinner, fellowship and a program. The group also enjoys
traveling together and is involved in ministry action to each other along with a quarterly mission project.
Providing support to the Children's Minister in planning and implementing programs and activities for children birth to Kindergarten. Ongoing programs/activities such as Angel Breakfast, Babies First Christmas Celebration, Easter Egg Hunts, Fall & Halloween activities and the newly reestablished Mothering and More Program. Members also help make decisions concerning curriculum, safety issues, extended session requirements, etc.
SINGLE ADULT

This team, made up of 3 separate but equal partner teams, strives to provide spiritual growth and fellowship activities for the single adults at FBC and throughout the N. GA area through Sunday school, travel, mission activities and much more.
Provides opportunities for Bible studies, activities, retreats, and group support systems to encourage personal and community spiritual growth for women ~ building community and friendships.
Provide support to the Youth Minister in planning and implementing needs and interest based programs, curriculum and activities for youth, grades 6-12. Activities include Wednesday night programs, off campus mission activities and trips, Sunday school for middle school and high school, youth retreats, discipleship training, etc.
