The Worship Team groups are established to address the core value of Sincere Worship.
To provide worship opportunities that are relevant, meaningful, engaging, dynamic and moving is the purpose of this team cluster. These services will glorify God and celebrate the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, preparing participants to go into the world living out their faith in Jesus Christ.
Teams Established:
The Worship Ministry Team continues to will educate itself on the history, evolution, and understanding of worship and then assist in educating the congregation on these topics. The Team's intent is to broaden, deepen, and enrich the worship life of First Baptist Church Dalton as a congregation and as individual believers.
The Music Ministry Team acts as a sounding board for ministry through music. The team meets quarterly.
The Drama ministry Team will plan effective use of drama to enhance the ministries of our church.
This team merges the Visual Arts Ministry Team and the Flower Team. The scope of this team is the embellishment of the sanctuary, using two different media. The team consists of two sub teams, one will deal with floral ornamentation while the other with non-floral ornamentation. The floral sub team also takes the floral ornamentation from Sunday and makes smaller arrangements, delivering the bouquets to hurting and sick members of our church and community.
The Sound and Vision Engineering Team will utilize their skills and expertise to provide quality sound and visual support for all worship services and other ministries of the Church. This team will also provide input to the Facilities/Capital Management Committee related to sound/visual equipment needs.
