MINISTRY TO SENIOR ADULTS
First Baptist Church recognizes that all of life is to be dedicated to God and used to bring Him glory. Senior Adults continure to be growing individuals who contribute greatly to the ongoing life of First Baptist Church. The mission of the Senior Adult Ministry is to honor God by providing opportunities for spiritual growth, creating opportunities for fellowship and adventure, and reaching lost and unchurched Senior Adults. Our Seniors meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:00 pm for dinner and a program. This groups is also actively involved in on-hands mission projects. In addition the Seniors enjoy day trips to local places of interest and take extended tours in the Spring, Fall and Christmas. The New Horizion Choir meets each Monday afternoon at 4:00 to prepare music for worship and seasonal concerts.
