First Baptist members and guests enjoy gathering together for worship, study, and fellowship.
On Sunday morning we have two services. At 8:30 a.m. our Chapel provides a more intimate setting for worship. This service is very similar to the 10:55 a.m. service held in the Sanctuary but does not include chorale presentations by the Sanctuary Choir or a children’s sermon for our children. Age and interest level Bible study/Sunday School is held each week at 9:45 a.m. A complete listing of our adult Bible study options can be accessed by following this link.
During the school year, Sunday evenings are devoted to occasional special events. Sunday evenings are also the time for our youth to participate in the youth choir and various activities scheduled just for them.
On Wednesday nights, we gather for activities appropriate for all ages. After fellowship around the evening meal and a time of corporate prayer, Bible study and discipleship classes are available for adults. Children may begin their Wednesday afternoons with handbells, children’s choirs, and mission activities. Youth have Bible Study and participate in mission activities as well on Wednesday evenings.
During the summer months, Sunday evening and Wednesday night activities are not held.
